Абстракт

Статията поставя въпроса дали в отсъствие на акцентна спецификация на морфемите в българския език се проявява регулярна тенденция в акцентуването. Изследването на акцентуването на акроними, основано на речников материал, показа доминиране на пенултимно ударение при единиците, завършващи на гласна, и ултимно при тези, които завършват на съгласен звук. Резултатите отразяват хармонично групиране и могат да се интерпретират като ориентация на ударението към дясната граница на основата. Отчита се също отражението на ефекта на лексикалната честота.
