Резюме

Iuliu-Marius Morariu The History of Christianity and its Role among the People Engaged with the the Romanian School in Rome (1922-1948). Using primarily texts and writings from the members and directors of the Romanian School in Rome, as well as the two publications of the institution from the interwar period—Ephemeris Dacoromana and Diplomatarium Italicum—the author demonstrates the institution’s significance for the history of Christianity in that context and examines the research conducted under its auspices. The activities of figures such as Vasile Parvan and Dimitrie Găzdaru, as well as later generations like G. Călinescu, Francisc Pall, and others, are reviewed and analyzed. Certain aspects highlight the dynamic nature of the activities of the institution’s members.
