Abstract

Children with challenging behaviour are one of the most vulnerable groups in terms of dropping out of school, rejection from the community and are often subject to physical aggression and social exclusion. Working with them and providing support is becoming increasingly important. The capacity of professionals to respond is important to effectively manage children's behaviour. This article aims specifically to highlight some effective strategies for dealing with challenging behaviour.
