About the Journal
"Society, Memory, Education (History and Social Attitudes)" is a multivolume series published by the St. Kliment Ohridski University Press.
The articles are published in Bulgarian, English, and Russian.
This publication blends the characteristics of both a thematic anthology and an academic journal, primarily featuring papers from the National Historical-Didactic Seminar held annually in Kiten.
The seminar itself boasts a long-standing tradition, dating back to 1980, when it was first initiated by Prof. Dr. Yordan Shopov. Initially hosted in Varna, since 2001, the seminar has been held in the town of Kiten. Over the years, the main organizer has consistently been the Department of Archival Studies and Methodology of History Education (formerly Archival Studies and Auxiliary Historical Disciplines) at the Faculty of History, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
