Gregorius Chourmouzius). An Excellent Artist in the First Period of the Flourishment
of Kalophonia.
The current article represents an original contribution to the study of the
Byzantine ecclesiastical chant tradition. It analyses the manuscript heritage
and its interpretation by a composer during the Ottoman period.
