Publication in the Journal is free of charge. Authors are not given remuneration for their publications.

Before undergoing peer review, all manuscripts are screened for originality. The StrikePlagiarism.com plugin software is used to that end.

The submitted articles are the responsibility of the author who adheres to the rules of academic integrity. The Statement of Authorship guarantees that the text is the result of the author’s own scholarly research and is a personal work in which the sources used are duly quoted in accordance with the bibliographic guidelines. The author should submit their article solely to Colloquia Comparativa Litterarum for first-time publication and must not be under consideration by any other journal simultaneously. For any subsequent reprinting of the work, the consent of the Editorial Board should be requested and the bibliographic data of the first publication in Colloquia Comparativa Litterarum should be indicated – year, issue, pages, link. 

By submitting your personal data as an author of Colloquia Comparativa Litterarum, you consent it will be processed in the preparation of materials for the Journal and will be published in it as an integral part of your article and the Journal’s content. The Editorial Board does not disclose information about submitted manuscripts except to the respective author, the reviewers involved, and to other persons involved in the publication process. It is possible that texts undergo proofreading.

As of 2025, the Journal is accessible on the OJS platform of the Library of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, and its current address is https://periodicals.uni-sofia.bg/index.php/colcl/en/home.

The Journal uses Open Journal Systems 3.5.0.1 which is an open-code software for the management and publication developed, maintained and distributed free of charge by the Public Knowledge Project under a GNU General Public License.
