This research aims to study the language of religion in Ukraine in the context of the complex linguistic, social and political situation which has developed in this country in the beginning of XXI century. The language of religion in a state populated by deeply religious people is an important factor which influences the linguistic behavior of every single person and of the society as a whole. Themain stress is put on the language used by themost influential religiousmovements in Ukraine and it has been concluded that the linguistic differences in the various religiousmovements in Ukraine are both a factor and a result of the complex language situation in the country in the past as well as today.
