Abstract

The most common working practice in the visual field today is through different stages of discussing and creating a project, usually
illustrated by other visual references. As logical as it may seem at first glance, this practice leads to an endless recreation of already existing and wellknown images. Thus, the “creation process” turns into a mere reaffirmation of a copy-paste model. The present article analyzes this practice and the possible causes and results.
