Клинични компетенции на логопеда при диагностицирането и терапевтирането на дисфагия

Дисфагията е нарушение, което отскоро е заложено в обучението на студентите по логопедия у нас и за което практикуващите логопеди имат малко познания и умения. Настоящата статия разглежда изискванията за клиничните компетенции на логопедите, посочени в редица литературни източници, и насоки на професионални организации в чужбина. Представени са специфичните методи за диагностика и терапия, които следва да бъдат овладени като знания и умения при третирането на дисфагия. Обобщението е насочено към факта, че в България трябва ясно да се дефинират критериите за придобиване на професионални компетенции за работа с нарушенията на дъвченето и гълтането.
