Submissions

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
• The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
• Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
• The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
• This manuscript is original and has not been published, in whole or in part, in any form or language, except as an abstract, thesis, preprint, or academic presentation.
• The manuscript is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere
• All authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission to Studia Archaeologica Universitatis Serdicensis.
• The research and manuscript have been approved by all relevant institutional authorities, where applicable.
• The work does not contain plagiarized content and all sources are properly cited with full bibliographic references.
• All authors meet the criteria for authorship and have agreed to the author order as listed in the submission.
• The manuscript does not contain content that creates a conflict of interest with any individual or organization related to the research. Any potential conflicts have been disclosed in the manuscript.
• The manuscript will not be submitted or published elsewhere in the same or substantially similar form without the prior written consent of the journal or copyright holder.
