Scomparative analysis of the educational content of the computer modelling textbooks for the third grade, adopted by the Ministry of Education and Science

Computer Modelling is the newest subject included in the primary school curriculum in the 2018/2019 school year. This article presents a comparative analysis of the content of the five Computer Modelling textbooks for third grade, approved by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science. For the purpose of this study the curriculum that has been in effect since 2018 is used. The educational content is divided into seven categories. The analysis is focused on: the ratio of topics according to their type (for each textbook separately); the aggregated ratio of the types of lessons according to the category, to which they relate (lessons for new knowledge, exercises, and review and revision) for each of the teaching sets.
