Abstract

What are the differences between modern piano teaching methods and long established ones? The article describes Hellen Hiner‘s original form of work, which successfully used advances in information technology and through the computer changed the traditional face of piano training. In an effort to renew and modernize the music-pedagogical space, Heiner created „Soft Way to Mozart“ – one of the modern methods that applies innovative technologies in the educational process of piano training. At the heart of the training system created by Helen Heiner is the game moment. With the help of technology, each student progresses at his own pace, because he has the opportunity to decide for himself how long to practice. The innovative Soft Way to Mozart approach is designed for all who seek to successfully transform music education.
