Prof. Jordan Tsankov Kolev's pedagogic works of music in entire educational and interdisciplinary aspect

Abstract

The composer Jordan Cankov Kolev, D.P.S., is the doyen of the music training at Sofia University ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’, later he is one of the founders of the specialty pedagogic of music, leader of Department ‘Pedagogic of Arts’ and head of Sector ‘Music’, assistant professor and professor of solfeggio, theory of music and pedagogic of music. With academician Blagovest Sendov and experts in different fields of pedagogic he takes part in the ‘Problem Group of Education’ at BAS and he carries out the idea for integrated relations between music, arts and sciences in primary education. He composes in a variety of genres, generally recognized as an author of solo songs for the Bulgarian pop art and the youngest children. He recreates the figurative world of the childhood by means of national peculiarities of prosody of Bulgarian language and folk sonority and rhythmic in the melody. The theme makes acquainted with pedagogic and music works for children. The titles are classified according to its function in Application.
