INVITATION for cooperation on the Italian-Bulgarian cultural website VIA PONTICA

 

Dear colleagues,

With this letter, we most kindly invite you to cooperate with us in the new initiative launched by the Cultural Association PARALLEL 43, administrator of the Bulgarian School "Assen and Iliya Peykovi" in Rome and Florence.

We are in the process of creating a Bulgarian-Italian cultural and information website entitled VIA PONTICA for culture, art, history, archaeology, education, tourism, science, Europe.

Why VIA PONTICA? As they say: "all roads lead to Rome", and this is one of the Roman roads that pass through today's Bulgarian lands.

The site aims to familiarize both the Bulgarian and Italian public with our common European past and present, revealing unknown pages of our common history and culture.

We will try to go beyond the framework of already known information websites by publishing reliable scientifically based up-to-date information from scientific institutes, museums, research centers and news agencies. The goal is for the achievements of science and culture to reach a wide range of interested parties, with the information presented in an accessible and attractive way.

We will try through our media to direct attention and create more critical thinking, to educate and influence readers in their cultural growth.
