ONLINEFIRST. Invitation to authors

The Journal of Media and Language offers OnlineFirst option, offered by a number of reputable journals on various platforms for scholarly periodicals. It allows final drafts of articles (articles queued for inclusion in an upcoming issue) to be hosted online before their inclusion in the final online issue of the journal.

OnlineFirst allows subscribers and members to have access to the latest articles in the field. Authors also benefit from significantly reduced lead times between submission and publication of articles. Their manuscripts can appear online while other articles are being finalized for an upcoming issue. In this way, the author's research will reach its audience more quickly, allowing the article to receive wider application and publicity, including earlier citation opportunities.

The article remains unchanged after inclusion in the issue (except for the addition of page numbering and volume/issue data). Authors will not be invited to review their articles again.
