The paper introduces the reader to several martyrs of the faith in Ukraine, who were victims of the Communist regime and its policies. It draws on archival documents from Odessa as well as other locations and institutions in Russia and Ukraine. The author presents brief portraits of many unknown or little-known clergymen who were tortured and murdered by the Communist government in Russia. The documents reveal the absurd arguments used by the Communists to justify the murder of clergy, highlighting that these death sentences were primarily issued because the victims were servants of Christ and the Church.Downloads
