Stefan Tonchev, Iliana Dimova present a theoretical and practically-applied model for the digitalization of religious education. The paper focuses on the use of digital education technologies and media pedagogy, particularly in the context of the pandemic. It proposes a model based on the principles of media pedagogy and digitalization of education, utilizing a case study of a Sunday school at the Church ‘Holy Trinity’ in Stara Zagora. The model aims to address the challenges of integrating digital tools into religious education, emphasizing opportunities for interactive learning, multimedia access, and flexible scheduling.
