    Tereni - eISSN: 2738-7674  is an online scientific periodical with double anonymous peer review. It was established in 2020 as a continuation of the Ethnologia Academica series (print edition published by the Academic Publishing House of Sofia University since 1999). The journal publishes articles in Bulgarian and English and is aimed equally at young and established researchers working in the social sciences, with a preference for ethnology, cultural anthropology, history, folkloristics, museology.   • Forum Theologicum Sardicense


    Forum Theologicum Sardicense - ISSN 3033-1811 is a periodical published by the Faculty of Theology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” Founded in 1994 under the title Bogoslovska Misŭl (“Theological Thought”) with the aim of advancing the academic field of “theology and religion” in Bulgaria.  The editorial board comprises representatives from various universities in Bulgaria and abroad. It is published in two issues per year and from its inception, the journal has been open to specialists from different academic fields relevant to theology and religious studies. 

  • The Literature

    The Journal "The Literature" is an interdisciplinary publication that examines literature in a broad cultural and intertextual context, focusing on the problematization of boundaries and the dialogue between texts and cultures.

    The editorial team includes leading literary researchers and linguists, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Slavic Studies of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". It will be held at the Faculty of Slavic Studies of the University "St. Kliment Ohridski". The editorial board is an international team from the country and abroad.

  • Media and Language

    "Media and Language" began as an electronic scientific journal for the study of media language. It was founded by Prof. DSc. Andreana Eftimova. It is registered as an electronic scientific publication with ISSN 2535-0587 at the University Publishing House "St. Kliment Ohridski". The interdisciplinary nature of the journal positions it in the field of humanities and social sciences. Gradually, the journal expands the scope of research, accepting texts dedicated to the functioning of language and semiotic systems in various social spheres - journalism, public relations, advertising, branding, book publishing, politics, art.

  • Sofia – Journal of Interdisciplinary Research in Social Sciences and Humanities at Sofia University

    Sofia – Journal of Interdisciplinary Research in Social Sciences and Humanities (Sofia-SSHjournal) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Philosophy at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". The journal promotes innovative and integrative scholarship that bridges disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. We welcome original research articles, theoretical essays, critical reviews, and book reviews.

     

  • Medialog

    Medialog is an electronic research journal on media research, media culture and communication.

    The journal is an open-access publication featuring texts published after two positive anonymous reviews.

    It was launched in 2016 by the „Radio and Television“ Department at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication of ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’ University of Sofia.

    The first issue of the journal was published in early 2017. The founder of the scientific journal is Prof. Dr. habil. Vencislav Dimov. The editor-in-chief of the journal is elected by the members of the editorial board on a rotating basis every two years.

    Seminar_BG is a peer-reviewed online journal for cultural studies, situated at the borderlines of disciplines such as cultural anthropology, aesthetics, sociology, and media analysis. Its ambition is to open up to new practices, cultures and methods, to make visible the invisible, to understand before judging.

  • Special education and speech & language therapy

    The Special Education and Speech&Language Therapy Journal (SESLT) is a online Bulgarian academic journal (online ISSN 2683-1384) intended to present advances in science, science-related news and exchange of experience in the fields of education, teaching and training, rehabilitation, therapy and inclusion of individuals with special educational needs and/or communication disorders. This journal is a successor of the print media ‘Journal of Special Education & Speech-Language Therapy’ (ISSN 2367-7821 print) and ‘Journal of Special Education’ (ISSN 1310-7003).

  • Music, Multimedia and Culture

    The magazine is a publication of FNOI at Sofia University with a main focus in the field of music and other arts, as well as in the field of general cultural discourse and multimedia developments and research.

    We strive to give a platform to both young scientists and doctoral students from higher education institutions and scientific institutes, and to encourage discussions and research in these fields of science.

  • Visual Arts

    The Visual Arts Journal is an academic periodical whose aim is to present a wide range of studies and projects focusing on different areas of the visual arts. 

    The journal is open to research that relates to various fields of the humanities (art theory and art history, philosophy, aesthetics, cultural studies, etc.) as well as to analyses of processes and phenomena in contemporary art.

    Pedagogical and Social Studies is a successor of the journal Pedagogical Studies (2020) and the Journal of Science, Culture, and Education, published from 2014 to 2019. It is published by the Faculty of Educational Studies and Arts of the Sofia University 

  • Society, Memory, Education (History and Social Sentiments)

    "Общество, памет, образование (История и обществени нагласи)" е многотомна поредица, издавана от Университетско издателство "Св. Климент Охридски". Статиите се публукуват на български, английски и руски език. Изданието съчетава характеристиките на тематичен сборник и научно списание, като включва предимно доклади от Националния историко-дидактически семинар, провеждан в Китен. Научният форум има дългогодишна история, която започва през 1980 г. по инициатива на проф. д-р Йордан Шопов. Първоначално той се провежда във Варна, а от 2001 г. домакин е гр. Китен. През годините водещ организатор неизменно остава Катедрата по архивистика и методика на обучението по история (преди "Архивистика и помощни исторически дисциплини") към Историческия факултет на Софийския университет "Св. Климент Охридски".

  • Colloquia Comparativa Litterarum

    Colloquia Comparativa Litterarum publishes studies in Comparative Literature with an emphasis on the European literatures, in particular on the Balkan issues and mainly regarding the period from 18th century until today.

  • Contemporary Law

    Contemporary Law Journal was established in 1991. It is published by the Faculty of Law of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, which is the oldest, the largest and constantly being awarded the highest accreditation ratings Law faculty in Bulgaria. It is printed and distributed by Sibi Publishing House -- the only Bulgarian publishing house specialised in legal literature. The Editorial Board members are prominent academics, promising younger specialists, legal practitioners. The international Editorial Board includes established academics from Germany, Portugal, Spain, the Republic of Northern Macedonia and Russia.

  • Academic Reports - Bulletin "Nasledstvo BG"

    The thematic series Bulletin ‘Heritage BG’ – Research Announcements are published two times a year and are available at all Centre of Excellence locations. Member institutions of the Centre and subscribers will receive a copy.
