Invitation for the 1st issue 2026

The Faculty of Philosophy at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is pleased to announce the launch of a new academic journal – Sofia – Journal of Interdisciplinary Research in Social Sciences and Humanities (Sofia-SSH Journal). The first issue is scheduled for publication in 2026.

The establishment of this journal reflects the Faculty’s commitment to providing a sustainable and high-quality platform for the exchange of interdisciplinary research in the social sciences and humanities (SSH). The Sofia-SSH Journal welcomes submissions from scholars and researchers who explore interdisciplinary approaches to knowledge, theory, and practice across the humanities and social sciences.

The journal is open access, ensuring free and unrestricted availability of all published content. No publication fees are required.

We invite submissions of original scientific articles and book reviews written in English (preferred) or Bulgarian. All manuscripts must be unpublished and not under review elsewhere.
