About the Journal
The journal Sofia – Journal of Interdisciplinary Research in Social Sciences and Humanities at Sofia University (Sofia-SSHjournal) is an academic publication of the Faculty of Philosophy at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Its mission is to disseminate high-quality scholarly articles that contribute original knowledge within the domains of the social sciences and humanities, with a particular emphasis on addressing pressing societal issues through interdisciplinary research approaches.
The establishment of the journal was mandated by a resolution of the General Assembly of the Faculty of Philosophy at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, with the objective of creating a sustainable and reputable platform for the exchange of academic ideas and critical discourse, in full adherence to the principles of scholarly and professional ethics.
Sofia – Journal of Interdisciplinary Research in Social Sciences and Humanities at Sofia University (Sofia-SSHjournal) is published biannually and accepts original manuscripts that have not been previously published, in whole or in part, under the same or an alternative title. Contributions are accepted in both English and Bulgarian. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process.
The journal fully complies with the highest international standards and criteria for the evaluation of academic publications, as recognised by leading global scientific indexing and abstracting databases.
