Ecological law as a branch of law of the Republic of Bulgaria

Abstract

The place of ecological law in the legal system of the Republic of Bulgaria is one of the debatable issues in Bulgarian legal doctrine. This article makes an attempt at giving argumentation for the concept of ecological law as an independent branch. Attention is focused on the subject matter, the method and the system of ecological law, as well as on its differentiation from the other branches of law.
