New legal definitions in the matter of reuse of public sector information

Abstract

This paper provides an overview of the new definitions in the matter of reuse of public sector information, which were introduced in the 2015 Law on Public Information. These definitions have occurred as a consequence of the European legislation and, particularly, Directive 2013/37/EU on the reuse of public sector information. This paper underlines the importance of the new legal definitions and proposes a modern interpretation thereof.
