Review of recent court practice under art. 1 of the act on the liability of the state and municipalities for damages for the period 2011–2016

Abstract

The article deals with the last five years' court practice on the implementation of Article 1 of the Act on the Liability of the State and Municipalities for Damages. The said Article regulates the liability for damages caused in the performance of administrative activities. The article also examines the liability for damages resulting from the implementation of unlawful subordinate legislation. Consideration is also given to the topical issue of liability for damages caused by violations of the European Union law.
