The motives that make women in albanian society react with forms of violence

Abstract

This short article carries out an overview of those motives which make the women in Albanian society react with forms of violence upon men. A number of reasons for it are pointed out - protection of children, jealousy, protection of property, self-defence, Albanian common law that is connected with traditions and, especially in rural areas, aggression on the part of spouses, etc. The work is based on the social reasons for women's violence upon men.
