Статията представя събора в Аквилея от 381 г. и отстраняването на Паладий от катедрата му в Рациария като предварително замислен и проведен съдебен процес с цел отстраняването на епископа от религиозните и политическите събития, свързани с новата политика на император Теодосий I.
