The collection “Spoken and Written. A Collection of Articles with Dedications” by Ancho Kaloyanov brings together 27 of the author’s articles spanning the intersecting fields of the humanities: ethnology and folklore studies, medieval studies and Slavic studies, as well as the history of literature and literary criticism. Alongside Kaloyanov’s texts in the collection, his “deep plowing” in the field of folklore and ethnographic studies is further highlighted by the names featured in the dedications of each article: scholars and university professors, journalists and public figures, as well as creators in the spheres of fiction and cinema.
