Abstract

The hypothesis that motivated the choice of the topic of this text is that the Eurovision Song Contest today is like a wrestling mat for geopolitical fights. Does Intervision, the Russian alternative to the European music contest, revived after yet another “cancelation”, give rise to new heights in musical art or does it continue the geopolitical “game” in a mirror image, “in a Eurasian” or “in a Russian” way?
