Abstract

The article seeks answers to current challenges posed by artificial intelligence, taking Foucault’s question “What is an author?” as its starting point. This question is particularly relevant in cases where the generated works are indistinguishable from those produced by human intelligence. As Chomsky argues, artificial intelligence plagiarises from humans in order to maintain a previously unimaginable “multidimensional space” of texts and to extract from them interpretations that await their authors.

Georgi Lozanov, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski"

Georgi Lozanov is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Long-term member of the Bulgarian media regulatory body. Author of more than 100 scientific studies and over 200 articles on broadcast and print media, culturology, art history, philosophy, aesthetics and literary criticism.
