Pavel Pavlov, Theological Ascetism and Scientific Humility: The Academic Legacy of Prof. Nikolai Nikanorovich Glubokovsky. This article is dedicated to one of the most significant theologians of the twentieth century, N. N. Glubokovsky. Born and beginning his extraordinary career in Russia, he, by divine providence, continued and concluded his career in Bulgaria—a country that became his second homeland. In addition to offering a brief retrospective of the life and works of this eminent exegete, patrologist, and Church historian, the article aims to address the following questions: Who is N. Glubokovsky to us today? What are the key insights of his theological legacy? To what extent does the actual theological image of this distinguished scholar and teacher align with the image we have maintained and preserved over the years up to the present?Downloads
