Абстракт

Статията разглежда фотографията в „Лигите на дявола“ на Хулио Кортасар от гледна точка на начина, по който е представена, функциите, които изпълнява, и отношенията ѝ с литературата. Анализът си служи с близко четене на разказа, подпомагано от някои разсъждения на аржентинския автор по повдигнатите теми, изложени на други места. Стига се до извода, че въпреки подчертаните си различия фотографията и литературата си сътрудничат както на полето на познанието (и двете са представени като начини да се стигне до истината), така и на полето на етиката (и двете са в услуга на моралния ангажимент на главния герой). И накрая, фантастичното нахлуване на протагониста в увеличената снимка позволява и естетически интерпретации.

    Teodora Tzankova received her PhD in 2012 from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” for her dissertation on ‘The Portrait in Literary Modernism (Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, and José Martínez Ruiz alias Azorín)’. She is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Department of Hispanic Studies at the same university. Her research interests are in the vast fields of the arts, literature, and literary translation, in which she often takes a comparative approach. Her latest project is on intersemiotic translation, particularly on ekphrasis in contemporary Spanish fiction.
