Résumé

Im vorliegenden Artikel wird das Buch von Ian Bostridge Schubert’s Winter Journey. Anatomy of an Obsession kommentiert, das über seinen Charakter einer musikwissenschaftlichen Untersuchung hinaus, die Franz Schuberts Liederzyklus “Winterreise” nach Gedichten von Wilhelm Müller, einem der Meisterwerke der romantischen Kunst, gewidmet ist, auch Bemerkenswertes im Bereich der Komparatistik leistet und gleichzeitig zum Nachdenken über den aktuellen Stand dieser wissenschaftlichen Disziplin anregt.

  • Cleo Protokhristova, Université de Plovdiv "Paisiy Hilendarski"

    Cleo Protokhristova is Professor of Ancient and West European Literature and Comparative Literature at Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She has published nine single-authored books, six coedited volumes, and over hundred articles and reviews. Her publications include The Literary Twentieth Century: Synchronic Cuts and Diachronic Projections (2020), Themes and Variations. Studies in Literary Thematics (2016), Notes from the Antechamber. Theory and Practices of Titling (2014), The Mirror: Literary, Metadiscursive and Cultural Comparative Trajectories (2004), West European Literature: Comparative Observations, Theses, Ideas (2000, 2003, 2008).
