Abstract

This article offers methodological reflections based on our thesis Le Corps-laboratoire. Plasticité et intermédialité du Je chez Chloé Delaume (The Body-Laboratory: Plasticity and Intermediality of the Self in Chloé Delaume). I show how literary research can combine theoretical analysis, autofictional creation, intermedial investigation, in situ fieldwork, and a sororal approach. The thesis thus becomes a space in which photography, drawing, autofictional narrative and ethical reflection on the literary field intertwine. I demonstrate that the research does not merely analyze autofiction: it practices it.
