About the Journal

Journal of Media Survey Center is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to media and communication studies, with a particular focus on Bulgaria, Southeast Europe, and comparative international perspectives. The journal publishes empirical research, theoretical articles, critical analyses, case studies, media surveys, reports, and book reviews addressing media systems, journalism, digital communication, audience research, media policy, democracy, and communication theory.

The journal aims to provide a scholarly platform for data-driven media research and to connect academic analysis with contemporary media practice. By publishing in both Bulgarian and English, it seeks to support local academic debate while increasing the international visibility of research on media and communication in the region.
