The paper presents the preliminary results of the joint project conducted by the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with Museum and the M. Rylsky Institute of Art Studies, Folkloristics and Ethnology. In the context of pan-European mobility, the two teams (from Sofia and Kiev) study the characteristics of the cultures of the diasporas of the two countries and the state cultural policies.
